Fiduciary Services Business Unit Leader

Hilco Streambank is seeking a professional responsible for launching and building a business unit focused on providing assignment for the benefit of creditors, receivership and wind-down services to distressed companies. 

Hilco Streambank is a preeminent intellectual property advisory firm. We specialize in the valuation and disposition of all forms of intangible assets, invest in intellectual property and operate a leading brokerage business focusing on IPv4 addresses.   

Hilco Global, Hilco Streambank’s parent company, has numerous business units, many of which count distressed companies as well as their professionals, lenders and investors as clients.  We are looking to expand our service offering to provide fiduciary services to new and existing clients, with the goal of maximizing value for the benefit of all stakeholders.

With approximately 750 employees across more than a dozen offices, Hilco Global is an industry leader with breadth and depth of experience across all asset classes and industries.  Its brand is considered the gold standard in the various fields in which it operates.  While each business unit generates much of its own business, the company also has an extensive network of business development professionals and referral sources from which to leverage. 

The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of relevant experience, having served as assignee/receiver/wind-down officer, or as a professional for same, or adjacent financial advisory or legal experience, with contacts in the various communities of investors and professionals who are involved in these types of transactions.  To be successful in this role a candidate will have the ability to generate new business, and the ability to service the Firm’s existing clients. 

Launch and Grow Business Unit

  • Develop brand positioning in relevant markets
  • Manage business generation
  • Build a team to execute transactions 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the key decision makers, including investors, lenders and professionals in the relevant communities
