actively seek interested parties with regards to the sale of the Spicers intellectual property assets.
Spicers was a leading wholesaler of office supplies in the UK.
The brand has a long-standing history as an office supplies business with a heritage of over 120 years. Founded in 1796 as a paper mill and paper supplies business, Spicers went on to become recognised as one of the market-leading businesses in the office
supplies sector. Spicers’ product range expanded exponentially and included office supplies, workplace solutions, furniture, workwear, PPE and print.
The Company served the reseller market across the UK. Spicers has developed relationships with over 2,500 dealers, many of whom depended on Spicers as their primary wholesale source. Customers included Office Power, Paperstone, Euroffice, Choice Stationery
Supplies, Complete Business Solutions, UKOS and Office Direct, amongst others.
The Spicers brand has a well-established reputation and national recognition.
For the 2019 financial year, Spicers UK generated sales of £159.6m.
