Kid Brands retained Hilco Streambank to market and sell its LaJobi® brands and its “Soft Home” line of brands, including CoCaLo® and KidsLine®, in its chapter 11 bankruptcy case. The assets available for sale included trademarks, domain names, social media assets and product design specs.

CoCaLo® and KidsLine® are well-known brands focusing on nursery home décor and lifestyle products. Product lines include infant bedding and related nursery accessories. LaJobi® is a leading designer and distributor of furniture and accessories for babies and children.

Over a 1-month period, Hilco Streambank ran a marketing campaign for the intellectual property assets. Following an auction, Hilco Streambank assisted the company in closing a deal with TG Valentine, LLC, whose $8 million bid encompassed the trademarks, domain names, digital assets and other related intellectual property assets.
