Hilco Streambank to Sell Premium Domain Names & Vanity Phone Numbers of Former Ticket Broker, National Event Company

Hilco Streambank is seeking offers to acquire the remaining intangible assets of National Event Company (“NECO”). The available assets include a premium domain name portfolio and vanity phone numbers. Interested parties have until January 16, 2018 to submit an offer for some or all of the assets.

The IP assets include:

  • a four-letter domain name (NECO.com);
  • the Toll-Free Phone Numbers used to purchase event tickets including 1-800-NECO-TIX;
  • TheUltimateFan.com domain name; and
  • Professional football team specific fan travel domain names for 29 professional football teams (ie., jetsfantravel.com, cowboysfantravel.com, dolphinsfantravel.com, et al.)

NECO, founded in 2006, was an industry leader in providing VIP access and premium tickets to concerts, Broadway theater, red carpet premiers and sporting events worldwide. NECO traditionally sold tickets through exclusive broker relationships and intermediary websites such as StubHub, Seat Geek and Tickets.com along with direct-to-consumer sales through NECO.com. In addition to a ticket brokerage business, NECO developed several event-driven and branded properties including www.TheUltimateFan.com and had plans to build out digital properties geared toward football fanatics.
